Returns and Refunds Policy
At Oz FineArt, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. Each of our artworks is a unique, handmade creation, and we strive to provide a transparent and fair returns process. Please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.
Condition of Artworks
All original artworks are sold "as-is," meaning sales are final and based on the existing condition of the product. Due to the nature of fine art, each piece has its own unique characteristics, age, and materials. We provide detailed photographs and descriptions, including the artist’s perspective and any unique features of the piece, to help you make an informed decision.

Paintings: The treatment of canvas edges is shown in photographs and may vary from work to work. Some canvases and stretch-frames are vintage and their condition is visible in photographs.

Ceramics: Unique features are described and photographed where possible. Please note that the raw bases of some ceramic pieces can scratch fine surfaces. We recommend using a plate, stand, or applying a protective layer to the base.
Damage
While we take great care in packaging and shipping, damage can sometimes occur in transit.

Reporting Damage: If your package arrives with visible damage, please ask the driver to wait while you inspect the contents. Ensure they note the damage on their system before you sign for the delivery. You must document any damage to the box and the artwork with photographs and email them to us within 24 hours of delivery.

Insurance and Claims: Timely notification is crucial. We will report the damage to the shipping partner and insurer on your behalf and await their instructions. Delays in notification beyond 48 hours may void the insurance policy and could affect our ability to process a refund or claim.

Replacement: Due to the unique nature of our work, original artworks cannot be replaced. We can only consider replacements for prints or replicated products that are still in production.
No Refunds for Change of Mind
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, we do not provide refunds or returns if you simply change your mind or if the artwork does not meet your personal expectations after viewing it in person.
We make every effort to provide accurate online representations of our artworks and minor differences in perception are a normal part of collecting fine art.
Our collectors acknowledge that works appear different under unique light conditions. Be aware of your light sources and enjoy the variations created by different uses of interior and natural light.
Refunds or Returns Under Special Circumstances
If you are seriously unhappy with your purchase, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund under the following conditions:

Notification: You must notify us and send photographs of the artwork's condition within 48 hours of delivery.

Costs of Shipment: You are responsible for all associated costs including handling, shipping, and insurance as well as return shipping and insurance costs. Return shipping and insurance costs can be substantial.

Return Shipping: Remember that re-entry to Australia often requires fumigation procedures that further risk customs opening of boxes and possible damage to artworks. We can provide a quote for return shipping upon request. We will arrange for a return pickup with our shipping partners. The artwork must be repackaged with the utmost care by you, ensuring it is in its original, shipped condition.

Refund Process: Once the artwork is safely returned to us in its original condition, we will issue a refund for the purchase price, minus all non-refundable costs (handling, initial shipping and insurance, and return shipping and insurance). Please note that if the artwork is damaged during the return transit due to inadequate packaging, the return insurance may be voided, and a refund may not be possible.
